Artist's Bio

Roz has a background spanning the study of Interior Design at RMIT and Fine Art at Caulfield Institute of Technology - now Monash University.

She is committed to abstraction in painting and is always interested in spatial organisation and the response of the viewer. Over the last few years she has become increasingly interested in symbols, motifs, texture, the interaction of forms and especially the sensory impact of mark making and surface on the viewer.

Solo exhibitions include 2001 Glenhuntly, 2015 Red Gallery, and 2023 Red Gallery.

Recent group exhibitions include 2017 ’Another World” - Red Gallery, 2018 - 'Life Abstracted’ - Cambridge Gallery, and 2018, 2020 and 2022 ‘Victorian Women Abstract Artists Biennial’ -Westend Art Space
