FOLDING INTO AI is Danni McCarthy’s Deakin University Doctor of Philosophy examination exhibition. It is the culmination of eight years of practice-led research and features three interconnected creative projects culminating in a collaboration between the artist and AI. 

Danielle McCarthy is an interdisciplinary artist with a special interest in the expanded field of drawing. Her work explores an ethics of relations at the interstices of bodies and technologies, focusing on the unique creative outputs, processes and exchanges that occur through different encounters with materiality and media. Her drawing practice aims to actualise a new feminist ethics for creative collaboration with Artificial Intelligence (AI) that is generative, open-ended and embodied.
