I refuse to follow trends or water down my vision. My work is unfiltered and relentless, a reflection of the world as I see it—complex, messy, and utterly real. Every photograph is an act of defiance, a refusal to settle for anything less than absolute truth.

This isn’t a hobby; it’s an obsession. I live for the moments where everything comes together—light, composition, emotion—and I’ll do whatever it takes to get there.

Artist Bio

Steven Xiao began his photographic journey in 2014. During his university years in the United States, he dedicated himself fully to his craft, often spending days perfecting a single frame. Under the mentorship of renowned Taiwanese photographer Juan I-Jong (阮義忠), Steven embraced the philosophy: “A single photograph should tell a story, not an entire series.” This principle became the cornerstone of his creative approach.
