Martin Lang’s art is about making the connection between our visual perception and our inner mind, our faculty of recognition, and our thoughts and beliefs. Our minds are tangled in a clutch of thoughts and memories. When our preconceptions are challenged, we are forced to think and decide. “My work is about calling on the emotions of the viewer to discern and decide; to elicit a response to an unfamiliar input… and to imagine.”
