Jing Liang
Jing Liang is an artist based in Naarm (Melbourne) and a research candidate in RMIT University. Her artistic practice revolves around a methodology of myth-making and material experimentation. This approach is situated within the contexts of socio-political considerations, with a particular emphasis on gender and cultural identity. Utilising a diverse range of materials, Liang employs a feminist critique to examine and question the structure within everyday lives. These endeavours present novel avenues for delving into feminist explorations.
Xinyuan (Caesar) Li
Xinyuan (Caesar) Li is an artist and designer based in Melbourne. His practice involves using digital technologies to intertwine Western design styles with traditional Chinese aesthetics, particularly in typography and type design. He explores the coexistence of visual forms in English and Chinese to cultivate transcultural narratives within contemporary design. Li employs scripts as critical forms to reflect on personal identity, society, culture, and history.
