Janet Goldman

Continuing The Dialogue

9 March – 26 March 2011

In recent works Janet Goldman investigates love, loss and grief. Her prints and drawings have been inspired by the poetry of Robyn Rowland from her book Silence & its tongues. The poems explore the nature of silence, the value of words and the complex issues that arise after a mother’s death.

This exhibition will comprise lithographs, linocuts and pastel drawings which explore these themes. Janet has work in a number of private collections in Victoria and Queensland and in the collections of the Australian Print Workshop and the National Gallery of Australia.

This is Janet’s first solo exhibition at Red Gallery.
