red gallery is delighted to present a solo exhibition of works spanning a half a century of printmaking and mixed media by the esteemed teacher and artist, Graeme Lee.

Works on Paper collects eight suites of bold and expressive predominantly black and white images. Graeme Lee’s bodies of work comprise lithography, etching, charcoal drawings, and many hued watercolours. His career commenced with Fine Arts training at RMIT, after which he taught for 33 years between London, suburban Melbourne and rural Victoria.

His work has shown and sold in Manhattan and resides in private collections including Commonwealth Bank and Box Hill Hospital.

Over sixty works from years at the Australian Print Workshop hang in Australian National Gallery.

Opening on Thursday 23 May and spanning our three galleries at 157 St Georges Rd, this unique show – somewhat of a retrospective – is a must for enthusiasts of art Works on Paper.
