Bu Badral
Opening Night
Friday 15 Mar | 6 - 8pm
◼︎
He centers his art around women, exploring their pain, loneliness, social rejection, and untold stories as a common thread that connects them.
Employing minimal imagery and dark colors, he effectively communicates their destructive emotions. Simultaneously, he ensures there is space for hope and the potential for personal growth and healing.
Additionally, he frequently engages in introspection, questioning the nature of love, its potential to be a form of punishment, and the boundaries of passion and desire.
These contradictions, along with their elusive answers, serve as inspiration for his ongoing dialogue with individuals who struggle to articulate their complex and ambiguous emotions.
