Letourneau continues his obsession with portraiture over the last 30 years of making art. This show covers a range of mediums and supports taking in the human face, the posture of a person and a macro look at specific sites of the body with emotional import.
Artist Bio
Asa Letourneau has been making art for the last 30 years and exhibiting since 2001. He was most recently a finalist in the Blake prize. His chief interests are figurative expressionism and work inspired by his academic career in literature and photography. He firmly believes in the transformative power of metaphor.
