Olivia Hamilton studied sculpture at ANU before moving to Paris and then New York where she waitressed and made art for 8 years. She returned to Australia to attend university. In 2018 she completed her PhD titled 'A commoning creative practice: tending to mutuality in spaces of engagement.' She is a senior lecture in school of Architecture and Urban Design at RMIT and her creative practice involves design, writing, teaching and making.
