Paper … Precision and elegance. Splodges and shadows. This ancient but ubiquitous format is explored by 17 Melbourne artists, in the 5th iteration of red’s annual group show in which paper’s possibilities are both the medium and the message. Papercutz begins an interrogation into its surfaces, splits, scratchings, boilings and folds.

A series of workshops will accompany the exhibition in which gallery-goers and artists alike are invited to make and mark.
