Capturing Fragments is a collection of Timothy Dell’s abstract oil paintings derived from photo collages and ceramic sculptures by Amore Amore. Dell’s work is based on the fragmentation of interior spaces, addressing physical fragmentation and metaphorical fragments drawn from memory or symbolic flotsam of the subconscious. Amore’s ceramic objects explore fragments of discarded ghost nets and ropes from the commercial fishing industry, initiating conversations about the effects we are having on the ocean’s ecosystems.
