With over 1.1 million artworks displayed, representing thousands of local, interstate and international artists spanning our 20-year history, RED are thrilled to celebrate the end of the year with another showstopper group show.
Having enjoyed our first full year without any COVID restrictions or density quotas, we are delighted to celebrate the arts in 2023 by returning to our famous End Of Year Showcase exhibition at RED. Previously titled RED Stocking, 60BYSIXTYFOR60 will be a fun, engaging and action-packed exhibition accompanied by workshops and various other free events, including a twilight evening with live music and artwork by candlelight as the gallery opens till late for those warm balmy summer nights. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of our joyous celebration of the year that was and connect with friends and family with the backdrop of exceptional creative talents from all over Australia. All artworks entered will be displayed in our exciting end-of-year Christmas exhibition alongside various activations to engage with our community. Cost to enter: $60. Places are strictly limited, especially our plinth allocation, so please book early. Maximum entry 3 per artist.

Deadline for entries: 1 September 2023
Artwork Drop-off Date: 11 December 2023
Opening Event: Friday 15 December 2023, 6pm – 8pm
Twilight Art Event (Live Music & Candlelight): Saturday, 23 December 2022, 8pm – 10pm
$60 per entry (artwork size can not exceed 60cm height and/or 60cm width. All sizes smaller than 60cm are more than welcome per entry.)
15% Commission
All artworks must fit within the strict 60cm x 60cm size requirements; however, they don’t have to be exactly that size, and you may work smaller or in different shapes as long as it is no larger than 60x60.
Artwork must be original and not infringe on copyright. All artwork must be delivered ready to hang. RED Gallery’s curators will curate and display the artworks; they will be hung according to the creative discretion of the Gallery. Gallery commission on all artwork sales of 15%, which includes GST
Artists must be over 18 years old.
The Gallery will have Public Liability Insurance but suggests all artists take personal insurance on all artworks that are sold on consignment.
Entry fees are non-refundable
Delivery of Artwork
Delivering in person: Artwork must arrive on 11 December 2023 between 9am – 2pm only.
Delivering by post/courier: Artwork must arrive by 2pm on 11 December 2023.
Artwork must be delivered by these dates and times as we have a very tight turnaround for catalogue printing. If the artwork is not delivered on time, it will not be included in the exhibition.
Delivery costs are at the expense of the artist. All artwork must arrive at the gallery ready to hang.
The gallery cannot keep any packaging due to limited storage space. All materials and all packaging will be disposed of or reused.
The artist's name AND title of the work as well as price MUST be written on the back of the work on the label itself for clear identification. Artwork must be ‘hang’ ready with D-rings and wires.
All artwork must include a colour photo and retail price, which must be uploaded onto the online database and will be available from 20 November 2022. The deadline for artwork to be uploaded online is 5 December 2022. Item description
Collection and Return of Works
Artist/courier collection in person: Unsold works MUST be collected from RED Gallery after the twilight event on the 22nd of December or after 4pm on 23 December 2022 unless by prior arrangement for a later date.
Interstate and remote artists: Unsold works can be posted back to artists via courier at the artist’s expense.
Sale of Artworks
15% commission on artwork sales applies. Artist Settlements are prepared and finalised up to 30 days after the exhibition’s end.
