Call for Submissions: TALK:DIRTY

Beyond Botanical Art TALK:DIRTY explores our relationship with nature and especially house plants and how artists engage with their house plants and especially during lockdown. These unlikely companionships create narratives of co-dependence between nature and people. RED Gallery will be hosting the first ever fully carbon-offset botanical art exhibition with artists showcasing their work alongside a living atrium of their houseplants in the gallery.

With the support of Yarra City Council we will be incorporating cutting-edge technology which will allow visitors to listen and talk to plants through biodata devices. A truly unique and fresh approach to botanical art. The project, with the visionary support of Yarra City Council, will be free to exhibit for selected artists.

Submit three examples of your work to as well as a brief description of how you and your work connect with plants. There is no cost involved in exhibiting for selected artists.
