See Saw celebrates the culmination of three years of innovation, inspiration and hard work from NMIT’s graduating Bachelor of Illustration students of 2012. This show highlights the student’s exciting contributions to the cutting edge of creative illustration. See Saw pushes at the boundaries of visual communication and questions the role and application of contemporary illustration.
This show examines the development of individual artistic practice in each illustrator’s chosen disciplines, utilising a broad range of craft techniques, drawing skills and digital processes to produce a diverse set of outcomes from sculpture and three-dimensional work, through print and paint, to animation and screen based media. See Saw offers a chance to discover a new generation of artists, designers and media practitioners whose work presents vibrant possibilities for the future of visual communication.
