24 March – 11 April 2004: Ginny Grayson – Discordant Diary

Ginney Grayson

Gallery 2

Memory, mortality and a sense of loss have remained prevalent themes throughout Ginny Graysons drawing practise. In her upcoming exhibition, ‘discordant diary’  showing at red gallery, Grayson continues exploring these concepts in relation to personal experience.

The seven metre open-ended work on paper conveys her emotional and psychological response to intimate relationships, using figurative and symbolic elements to impart their visceral nature.

Grayson finds the materiality of paper and immediacy of the drawing process seductive and integral to what she is attempting to express.
