It is appealing that something can look like a meaningless swirl of light and dark lines but can later, under different conditions, appear to be a tangible form.
“My work is about manifestations of the spirit. It is influenced by too many ideas to enumerate here, ideas from many different realms of life.”

Peter Jordan completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts with Honors at ANU School of Art in 1996 and would like to gratefully acknowledge the Kulturforderung, Kanton Graubunden, for the opportunity to undertake a residency in Switzerland. Jordan works part time as a lecturer at the Australian National University, Canberra.
